We are set well off the road and there is ample and easy parking available.

The Coastal Path is only a mile and a half away, and walkers and cyclists are welcome.  We have facilities to store muddy boots or to dry walking clothes, should this be necessary.  We are happy to provide transport within the Lizard area to enable ramblers to undertake non-circular walks.  The Lizard Peninsula is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and, due to the mild climate, unique natural flora and fauna abound at different times of the year.  This natural beauty is supplemented by the many famous gardens which lie within easy reach of Colvennor.

The small harbour of Mullion Cove and the pretty beaches of Poldhu Cove and Church Cove, Gunwalloe are close by.  Mullion Golf Club, with one of the most beautiful courses in the West Country, is 5 minutes away by car.  On request, Colvennor Farmhouse is able to arrange preferential rates at the Golf Club for its guests. The ancient market town of Helston maintains an old fashioned feel and has an interesting history, including the world famous Flora Day in early May.

Kynance Cove, Cadgwith, Helford, Gweek, Gunwalloe Cove, Porthleven and Lizard Point are all within six miles, and Colvennor acts also as a good base for touring South West Cornwall, with Penzance, St Ives, Truro and Falmouth all within easy reach.  The Eden Project is just over an hour away.

On the Images Page, you will find some stunning photographs of the Lizard Peninsular taken by John Wright.
